More Features

ENAlerts

Stay informed of any potential issues with your system or building and enjoy standard reminders such as filter replacement recommendations. Available via email, push notifications or text.

Never worry about buildings overheating, pipes freezing or temperature-related incidents again, and if you’re an HVAC professional, you can subscribe to customer notifications and provide rapid response to service situations.

Unlimited Group Control

If your building has multiple HVAC units, establish zones to create more consistent, comfortable temperatures across common space.

As an added bonus, your equipment runtime can be balanced within a zone, ensuring one unit isn’t overworking.

Cycle Watch

First, a quick definition of cycle rate: the maximum number of times a system will run hourly when using at least half of its capacity to maintain a desired setpoint.

Cycle Watch will establish minimum “off minutes” or the maximum number of times a unit shuts off for heat pumps, air conditioners or boiler/hydronic systems to avoid the harshness of short cycling. Your system will incur less wear and tear and you’ll save on maintenance costs.

Duct and Cover

You paid for all of your conditioned air, so make sure you actually get to enjoy it!

ENASTAT will manage your fan run time to ensure all conditioned air is evacuated from the air ducts.

Sub Zero Mode

Most thermostats do not allow users to program setpoints below 5 degrees Celsius (41 degrees Fahrenheit), but ENASTAT offers the ability to control the temperature all the way down to -30 C.

Now, refrigeration businesses or those insensitive to extreme cold (i.e. buildings without plumbing) can truly optimize their indoor temperature.

ENAlytics

We’ve all been in a space that felt uncomfortable, but odds are we didn’t fully understand what’s off with the HVAC system causing the discomfort.

In some scenarios, the equipment cannot keep up with the heating or cooling load, leading to hot/cold spots.

ENASTAT can tell you if you’re unable to achieve the setpoints and provide advanced warning when the outside temperature reaches a level your system may not be able to keep up with.

Enjoy the peace of mind knowing with 100% certainty your system is set up and operating properly.

Freeze Protect

Most equipment manufacturers recommend avoiding air conditioning when the outdoor temperature falls below 16 C (60 F) as it will impact the refrigerant and potentially cause some problems with the unit.

If running during the winter, your system could experience the freezing of refrigerant coils, thickening of lubricant and damage to moving parts and bearings.

ENASTAT’s Freeze Protect can automatically prevent the air conditioning from running if the outside temp goes below a designated level.

Setpoint Saver

Sometimes you want to create “exceptions” to your standard HVAC settings. For instance, a school gym may be unoccupied in the evenings but occasionally hold special events.

Or, heaven forbid, the boss makes everyone show up to the office on Saturday morning.

With ENASTAT, you can set a default mode or setpoint so that even after there’s been a manual adjustment to your settings, things will return to normal after a certain period of time.

Filter View

Air filters are critical to the efficiency and performance of your HVAC system.

Clogged filters are also less effective at preventing contaminants and allergens, meaning your building occupants could be breathing in less-than-ideal air.

Based on calendar dates and/or your run time, ENASTAT can suggest when it’s time to replace your filters to ensure your system runs spick-and-span.

Heat-Cool Conserve

If you have multiple systems in the same area of your building (aka zone), you know how expensive it can be if one is heating while the other cools.

Building Management Systems are equipped to deal with this phenomenon, but traditional thermostats are not.

ENASTAT’s Heat-Cool Conserve prevents systems in the same zone from “fighting” — meaning one won’t be allowed to heat while the other is cooling (and vice versa)!

Heat-Cool Comfort

Similarly to Heat-Cool Conserve, this ENASTAT setting deals with dueling HVAC systems within a shared zone which are simultaneously heating and cooling.

However, with Heat-Cool Comfort the priority is achieving a desired setpoint; heating and cooling can be run concurrently, Drycool will run by default when the AC is connected, and the fan runtime is set to 10 minutes per hour to keep air circulation and temperature balanced in the space.

In general, efficiency goals are pushed aside until that setpoint target is achieved.

Advanced Permission Sharing

Operations including schools, multifamily apartments and worship facilities often need shared responsibility for climate control.

With ENASTAT, you can delegate thermostat control to others, and choose between full control (including the ability to share with others) or limited control, such as only being able to adjust the setpoint within a certain band.

As the account owner, you’ll have the ability to change or revoke access for anybody with whom control permission has been shared.

Calendar 365

Most smart thermostats allow you to schedule setpoints based on the day of the week and time of day, but for worship facilities, event centers, offices and other commercial spaces, we know there are holidays, special gatherings and other “exceptions to the schedule.

With ENASTAT’s Calendar 365, you control down to the exact calendar day how your system operates, including temperature, fan settings, humidity and “dead bands.”

Predictive Setpoint Mode

In buildings with irregular occupancy schedules and levels, such as worship facilities or sporting venues, it can be difficult to “time” the start of an HVAC system.

Over the course of a month, ENASTAT will learn exactly how long it takes to reach any setpoint given internal and external conditions and (with 95% accuracy) initiate advanced heating and cooling based on your desired temperature schedule.

This feature works for both individual thermostats and zones, ensuring end users don’t waste money over-conditioning a space or walk into an uncomfortable environment.

Predictive Setpoint Mode also provides HVAC professionals with rich insights about the system’s overall performance.

Drycool

Enjoy an efficient cooling boost and prevent moisture-related issues in your space, even without a dehumidifier.

Help your customers address excessive moisture without the need to install a dehumidifier.

Advanced Run Time

When a multi-stage system is struggling to reach a desired setpoint, it may run at higher stages which are not only less efficient, but more likely to stress the system.

Working like an odometer and RPM monitor in your car, ENASTAT will analyze the runtimes at different stages and automatically optimize for your system’s lower stages, maximizing efficiency and reducing wear and tear.

AirSwap

Welding shops and industrial facilities with lots of process fumes can be prone to unhealthy air quality. Air exchangers can be expensive to run, though, since it exhausts conditioned air to the exterior.

ENASTAT will maximize the efficiency of your air exchanger by only running it when the process is active (i.e. during business hours).

Humidistat

Control both humidifiers and dehumidifiers to maintain ideal thermal conditions — for people, plants, products or processes! Cannabis facilities, for instance, are humidity-dependent operations, and many other industries have humidity level requirements for the integrity of their goods or systems.

So whether your aim is to just create a more comfortable effective temperature for your people, or to grow the dankest weed, ENASTAT has you covered.

Heat Recovery

If your HVAC system has a heat recovery ventilator, ENASTAT can drive its operation.

By extracting moist, stale air and using it to heat (and supply) fresh, filtered air, you’ll not only significantly reduce your electric bill, you can reduce humidity and condensation, shed contaminants and create a more even temperature throughout the space.

Fresh Air Optimizer

If your building is located in an area with cool nighttime temperatures and low humidity, ENASTAT can trigger your economizer to introduce fresh outside air to lower the temperature without the expense of air conditioning.
